At Lala's Sons Gems, we deal only in natural rubies and sapphires, with full disclosure of treatments and quality. Since gemstones are a specialized commodity, our Buy-Back and Return policy is structured to balance customer confidence with industry practicality.


1️⃣ Return Policy (Short-Term)
✔ Eligible for Return
Ring-size stones and astrological stones
Must be unused, unset, and unaltered
Must be returned in original condition with:
Original invoice
Original certificate (if provided)
⏳ Time Limit
Return request must be made within 7 days of delivery
Stone must reach us within 10 days from delivery date
💰 Refund Method
Refund will be processed after quality verification
Refund issued via bank transfer / original payment method
Shipping, duties, certification, and handling charges are non-refundable
❌ Not Eligible for Return
Calibrated stones / parcels sold for manufacturing
Custom-selected stones bought after video approval
Stones that are set, damaged, recut, or altered
Stones sold at special wholesale / discounted pricing


2️⃣ Buy-Back Policy (Long-Term Assurance)
We offer a conditional buy-back facility to provide confidence to our clients.
Please note: gemstones are not equivalent to gold or bullion and prices depend on market demand and quality condition at the time of resale.

Natural rubies & sapphires purchased from us
Full disclosure stones (heated / no-heat / glass-filled as declared)
Stones in original condition, without damage or treatment changes
📄 Documentation Required
Original invoice
Original lab certificate (if applicable)
Stone must pass internal verification


3️⃣ Buy-Back Value Structure
🔹 Calibrated Stones (Bulk / Manufacturing Grade)
No fixed buy-back guarantee
We may assist in resale subject to demand and condition
Price will depend on:
Size consistency
Colour matching
Current market demand
🔹 Ring-Size & Astrological Stones
Buy-back considered at prevailing wholesale market value
Typically 50%–70% of original invoice value, depending on:
Treatment category
Colour & clarity
Market conditions
Physical condition of stone
🔹 Certified Premium Stones (GRS / GIA / equivalent)
Buy-back evaluated case-by-case
Value based on:
Certification
Treatment status (heated / no-heat)
Origin (if mentioned)
Current international market demand
Buy-back value generally higher than non-certified stones, but not guaranteed at original purchase price


4️⃣ Important Disclosures (Please Read Carefully)
Gemstones are not cash-equivalent assets like gold or silver
Buy-back prices may be lower or higher depending on market conditions
Treatments such as heating or glass filling are permanent and disclosed at the time of sale
Any re-treatment, re-polishing, or damage will void buy-back eligibility
Certification fees are non-refundable
